Since the introduction of day running lights (DRL’s) by the safety conscious Swedish car manufacturers in the late 70’s, day running lights are now pretty much commonplace on most modern vehicle’s and rightly so! Although the majority of Europe do not suffer the long periods of darkness experienced in Sweden the safety aspects cannot be ignored. Our client, who’d recently retired and wanted to tour Europe in his new motorhome, wanted to ensure that his vehicle would always be visible whatever the weather and light conditions.

We decided to opt for the Steelmate “bullet” style day running lights. Each LED is individually fitted to the body, they auto-dim when the headlights are switched on so they are not too bright at night!
